First of all, The Brinkley’s Wings Collection and I, would like to thank you all for your support. The Brinkley’s Wings Collection site was originally launched in 1996. At that time, we were using the Free Website service providers. As time went on, 1/400 scale became bigger, and so did this website. Therefore, in 1998 Brinkley’s Wings Collection website moved to our own paid server.

No matter how many expenses we spent on 1:400 models, we still ran the website with no financial support. For 6 years, that is a lot of money! We are frustrated at how much we spend on our own budget internally. Nowadays, we still wish to support the manufacturers in this hobby for free - such as some of the retailers are using our photos for selling their models, some collectors are using for reference etc.

However, we have been thinking for a long time, and have come to a sad and tough decision. The Brinkley’s Wings Collection will stop posting pictures of new releases effective immediately. We want you all to continue to enjoying this wonderful hobby though.

By the way, we would like to tell you that we do not get any free models from any of the factories or manufacturers. We totally fund this site and buy models using our own money.
